Small Business and Professional Networking Event at Rivier on November 9

Rivier’s Division of Business and Office of Multicultural Affairs are hosting a small business and professional networking event called “RU Connected” on Monday, November 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is being held on the Rivier University campus in Nashua and will offer ideas and resources to foster small business growth with a focus on expansion into diverse communities. Emerging Leaders in Communities of Color (eLcc) is the event sponsor.

The day’s highlights include mini-workshops from experts on personal and company branding, successful project management, and budgeting for small businesses; a keynote address by Thomas Pucciarello, organizational development and leadership expert; business networking opportunities; and access to local business resources on the exhibition floor.

“Growing a business requires a constant effort,” says Dr. Amir Toosi, Dean of Rivier’s Division of Business. “Developing a strong professional network and mutually beneficial partnerships provides vital support for small business owners. You never know who you will cross paths with and at what capacity.” The event offers small business owners, vendors, and job seekers a forum to meet and learn with the goal of expanding their marketing scope, business management skills and future opportunities.
