2014 Golf Classic raises more than $45,000 to support the University's athletic programs

With the generous support of the local community, the 17th annual Golf Classic raised more than $45,000 to support the University’s athletic programs.

The event took place at the Nashua Country Club on September 29 and was supported by more than 50 sponsors.

“Our Golf Classic continues to raise a significant level of funds to support our athletic programs due to the generosity of the local business community, as well as alumni and friends of the University,” says Karen Cooper, Vice President for University Advancement.

Tournament sponsors, including Premier Event sponsor People’s United Bank and Dinner Sponsor Spectrum Marketing Companies, were recognized at the dinner and awards ceremony. Director of Athletic Joanne Merrill thanked event sponsors for their generosity which provides opportunities for student athletes to travel and compete both nationally and internationally.

The 18th Annual Golf Classic will take place on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Nashua Country Club.
