DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Rivier University seeks a full‐time, non‐tenure track faculty member in Computer Science with an earned Ph.D. in Computer Science, IT or related field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum three years experience utilizing pedagogy that is student-centered, problem-based, and engages students in experiential learning to develop high levels of proficiencies in operating systems (OS) and programming languages;
- Minimum of one year experience teaching in academia; solid knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, Windows OS, computer architecture, and networking systems; specific teaching includes courses at the graduate level in Java Programming, Object-Oriented Design and Algorithms.
- Experience teaching with a learning management system (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
- The ability and willingness to support the Mission of the University; and to work collaboratively and collegially.
